FOSTER HOMES NEEDED FOR SEVERAL CATS NOW!!! We are currently in need of foster homes for some of our cats.  If you are able to help please fill out the on-line application.  If you can't foster, think about Sponsoring a Pet.

INTERESTED IN VOLUNTEERING?

CURRENTLY WE REALLY NEED VOLUNTEERS FOR THE FOLLOWING:

Luv-a-Pet Center, fostering and Sponsorship of Dogs Programs.  If you are interested in volunteering, please email volunteer@capsrescue.org

There are many ways to volunteer:

• Volunteer your time:  We are always in need of extra sets of loving hands and hearts to help.

  • On Saturdays we need volunteers to help transport our dogs from the local boarding facility and some foster homes to PetSmart. Also, help is needed to hold and show the dogs.  

  • We also need people to work with the cats. We need greeters and information givers, and cage cleaners. These little animals need their potential families screened, info given out and a lot of TLC. 

  • We need a Grant writer to find possible sources of grants, review the requirements, discuss the grants with us and then write the grant proposal.

  • Help with the website

  • Photographing, if you have a digital camera and like to take pictures, let us know.

  • Dog trainers

  • Person with computer and printer to update Wal-mart and Petsmart boards on a regular basis

• Our need for foster parents is as great as our need for donations. Foster parents play a vital role in the transition of our rescue animals into their new happy home.

• Sponsoring:  Looking for another way to help? Don't have a lot of time? There are some of our animals that we have had for awhile. These are our special needs guys or girls. They may be waiting for that extra money to come in to help with heartworm treatment, hip dysplasia, or a number of other things. For a small monthly donation you can help with their vet bills or food. We know that not everyone has the free time to volunteer so this is a nice alternative for those busy life styles that want to get involved.  Please click here for more information.
