McCavity

I just wanted to give an update on how McCavity was doing. He has adjusted very well to his new home. He has been a joy for us, and we love him dearly. The first night he used the litter box, and thus far has not had any accidents regarding the litter box.  We did not have to keep him in the litter box over night because we showed him the litter box and used right away. He slept with us the first night and has been doing so every since. We put a foot stool by our bed so he could jump up every night to find his special spot on our bed.

McCavity also has adjusted very well to our other pets. My other black cat, (Midnight) would not have anything to do with McCavity. he would hiss and run away. But now Midnight has accepted McCavity and does not hiss at him anymore. My other white cat (Michan) has taken McCavity under his wing, and they are best buddies. My dogs also has become very friendly with McCavity. As far as the birds go McCavity knows they are there, he just sniffs the cages and then walks away.

McCavity had a cold and had his ears cleaned. He was on an antibiotic and is now feeling better and back to his curious self. We allow McCavity to walk with us out in our yard. Its fenced in, and we have a harness and leash on him while we walk Mccavity around the yard. We also make sure that the doggie dog is closed at all times.

Unfortunately, my digital camera does not work anymore, however we did take some pictures of McCavity with a camera, so we hope to have some pictures put up on this site as soon as possible. We also became members  of a website called catsters.com. We also hope to have his profile and picture up on that site soon as well.

In closing we just wanted to say thank you so much for allowing Mccavity to be a part of our home. We love him so much. I still remember visiting him every other day at Pets Mart waiting for our application to be viewed. I am so thankful we decided to reapply our application, it was like it was meant for McCacvity to be a part of our family. We bonded with him the first day we shall him. Not because we felt sorry for him because he was blind, or because he was de-clawed, It was he sweet personality and his loving ways that caught our eyes and heart. Being an animal lover, I can honestly say I appreciate all that you (And your staff) do to rescue these animals and give love and homes for these cats,
