FLETCHER

Fletcher - In April of 2001, we had just bought a house with a pretty large yard and we decided it was time to finally get a dog... We had heard of C.A.P.S. and went to PetSmart to see if our new friend would be there... Well, it just so happened that it wasn't dog adoption day that day, and instead, we brought home Fletcher (formerly named Apollo) a six week old kitten who was mostly a big forehead with eyes :) to join our other two cats. Three years later, Fletcher is doing well and all grown up. (He did eventually grow into that forehead of his and is quite a handsome young man now) Fletcher lives with us and his 5 fur-brothers and sisters: Beaux the 'Grandpa' cat of the group who was rescued in New Orleans; Big Boy, his rather rotund older brother cat, rescued from Florida; Lila, our petite little girl cat, who simply showed up on our doorstep last year and decided to come on in and stay; and Maggie and Mac, our two Dobermans (yes, we finally did get a dog... and then two of them, at that) who both came from the Doberman Rescue of North Carolina in Chapel Hill.
