Dakota was rescued from a wonderful, kind woman in New Jersey and with the help of CAPS was able to find him a wonderful home in Georgia.....

From Tracy, Dakota's rescuer:    Dakota was adopted yesterday.. They just couldn't wait.. We met them in Fayetteville... They seem to very very nice people... Thanks for everything!!!!! Tracy & Danny   PSS... We couldn't have done better without the help of CAPS!!!! CAPS THANK YOU FOR FINDING DAKOTA A FOREVER HOME!!!!

From Dan Dakota's new dad:   Just wanted to let you guys know that everything went well. Dakota rode very well! We had to stop a few times and there was only one incident where he did not want to get back in the van. I figured out that if I get in first, he will follow. He slept with me in our spare bedroom last night, until we had time to introduce him to Jack, our other dog. That too went very well. Once all the sniffing was over, they played for about an hour in the backyard. I'll have some pictures to send to you guys soon.
